The Sea of Dreams

Since she was a child, she has had this lifelong dream of the sea. Hours were spent gazing at holographic pictures of the sea on her wall, lost in contemplations of swimming in the blue waters, feeling the waves against her skin, and taking in the pungent air. Regardless of perusing every one of the books, watching each narrative, and playing ocean reenactments, nothing really matched the genuine article.

The ocean had become taboo after the Incomparable Flood, a risky spot with changed animals, harmful material, and destructive tempests. The public authority had proclaimed it beyond reach, available just to approved faculty for exploration or military purposes. Endeavors to sneak in were met with capture or more regret.

But she didn't let that stop her. She had a plan and enough money saved to buy a black market submarine, a small, sneaky boat that could get by coast guard patrols. Outfitted with information from guides and outlines, she recognized a spot to enter undetected. With fundamentals gathered—a pack of food, water, and a camera—she was prepared for her secret experience.

Sitting tight for dusk, she moved her submarine to the assigned area. Checking radar and sonar for action, there were no signs. She activated the cloaking device and fell into the water, abandoning the surface to the unidentified.

Following remembered facilitates, she explored the remote ocean, anxious to observe stowed away ponders: baffling animals adjusted to the unforgiving climate, antiquated and outsider remains indicating she failed to remember civic establishments. She needed to catch everything on camera, to impart excellence and secrets to the world.

Lights and camera enacted, she recorded her excursion, panting and grinning at the vivid corals, gleaming jellyfish, and abnormal marine life. Her stunningness and marvel were tangible; it was a little glimpse of heaven.

Wandering further, she arrived at the edge of a channel. A vast, pitch-black abyss astonished and terrified them as they gazed down. Choosing to face a challenge, she slid into the channel to investigate its mysteries.

Strain and cold expanded as she dropped. Checking measures and screens, everything appeared all right, supporting her certainty. She pushed the submarine as far as possible, needing to find out how far she could go.

Arriving at the channel's base, she tracked down a leveled, fruitless scene. Starting frustration nearly drove her to turn around until she saw something odd — an entry to a passage producing a weak, glimmering light. Charmed, she examined.

The restricted, winding passage had smooth, metallic walls, a counterfeit development. Inquisitive and a bit unfortunate, she proceeded.

Arising into a huge, roundabout chamber loaded up with light and machines, she tracked down screens, consoles, wires, pipes, and a monstrous barrel shaped tank with a humanoid animal inside. The animal, with pale, layered skin, long, dull hair, webbed fingers and toes, and a tail, wore a tight white suit embellished with terminals and cylinders. As the animal rested, she saw its fantasies projected on screens—a variety of ocean and land, past, present, and future, magnificence, and frightfulness.

Feeling an association, she understood the animal was an examination—a crossover of human and oceanic DNA, a hostage made by the public authority for investigation and double-dealing with the ocean. Loaded with compassion and outrage, she chose to mediate.

Hacking the control center, she opened the tank, liberated the animal, and helped her out of the suit, eliminating cathodes and cylinders. They silently understood each other as the creature smiled and opened her eyes.

Taking the animal's hand, she drove her to the submarine and started the excursion back to the surface. Her goal was clear: to get away, to save the animal, and to allow her an opportunity at life.

Taking a gander at the animal, she felt a significant connection. She perceived that the animal was in excess of an examination or a half breed. The animal was an individual, a companion, or a sister.

At that time, she comprehended that the animal was her.
